Birmingham Youth Empowerment Project CIC (BYEP) is a community based, not for profit organisation that aims to inspire, motivate, and empower children and young people through holistic approaches.
BYEP aim is to empower young people by maximizing their opportunities for them to harness (manage) situations, whilst building their self-esteem and improving quality of life through workshops, training, and education.
BYEP was created to help change the lives of disadvantage young people. There are more than 75,000 young people who experience homelessness each year, and whilst some organisations exclude asylum seekers from their projects, we don’t. BYEP include all young people– regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation.
BYEP aspire to help young people execute their own ideas and become active community members and productive citizens by participating in community service, leadership training, and sporting activities.
Our main objective is to influence significant changes to local, state, and national policies. BYEP intend to help change Government policies by lobbying on behalf of the population. We will educate and train young people to advocate changes on how Government tackle issues.
